Talented Ugandan Kuchus (CICP, Paris 2014) ; rise and shine

 Concerts de soutien aux LGBT d'Ouganda au CICP et spectacle dansé et chanté de TUK (Talented Ougandan Kuchus) à Paris. L'Ouganda ainsi que le Nigeria ont repénalisé l'homosexualité sous la pression et la manipulation de chrétiens extrémistes américains, disant au peuple que l' occident veut "recruter" des homos parmi la jeunesse ougandaise, incitant à la délation entre familles et voisins et poussant à la haine et à la violence. Les homos et leurs "complices" risquent jusqu'à trois ans de prison, en cas d'"homosexualité récidiviste" c'est l'emprisonnement à vie.

Beaucoup de Kuchus (gays) ont déjà fui le pays. Le collectif TUK met en scène la situation dramatique des LGBT d'Ouganda avec une énergie incroyable, car "la lumière en moi est beaucoup plus forte que les ombres autour de moi".

Ouganda and Nigeria recently remade homosexuality a crime under the pressure and manipulation of american christian extremist, pushing people to reveal their neigbour or son's homosexuality, risking up to 3 years in prison to life emprisonment for the "homosexual recidivist". Lots of LGBT are leaving Uganda since because of this dramatic situation where basic human rights are forgotten, making people risk their lives just by being themselves.

The collectiv TUK made up this singing and dancing show to share the huge problem LGBT are facing in Uganda, with talent and pride, standing with no fear. "Cause the light that is within me is much stronger that the shadows surrounding me".
